BCGold Corp. Announces Financing

February 20, 2007 – BCGold Corp. (the "Company") (TSX-V: BCG) announces that it intends to complete a non-brokered private placement of up to 5,750,000 units of the Company ("Units") at a price of $0.70 per Unit for gross proceeds of $4,000,000. Each Unit is comprised of one common share and one-half of one common share purchase warrant, each whole such warrant entitling the holder to purchase one additional common share at a price of $1.00 per share for a period of two years after the date of issuance.

Finders’ fees may be payable in connection with the private placement.

The offering is subject to certain conditions, including the receipt of requisite regulatory approvals. The Company intends to use the proceeds from the offerings for exploration activities on its Canadian properties, for other corporate purposes and for general working capital.
